Phoenix Christian Preparatory School Welcomes New Director of Phoenix Christian Athletics to Lead its Sports Program

Phoenix, AZ – Phoenix Christian Preparatory School is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new Athletics Director, Mr. Ben Stryczek, effective June 2023. As a well-respected coach and administrator with over 15 years of experience in athletic leadership, Stryczek brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Phoenix Christian’s athletic program.

“Coach Stryczek embodies the ideals of leadership Phoenix Christian is built upon. He is a leader, gifted coach, and follower of Christ. Over the last three years, I have observed him embrace his classroom and teams and guide both to the next levels” said Superintendent, Jeff Blake.

Mr. Blake added, “I am grateful for Mr. Dan Fort’s leadership and commitment to Christ-centered education as he led Phoenix Christian’s athletic programs.”at Phoenix Christian.

Ben Stryczek is a graduate of California State University and has spent the last three years as the Men’s Head Varsity Basketball Coach at PC where he led the varsity team to back-to-back final four play-offs. Stryczek’s combined 15 years of athletic leadership includes coaching, camp and tournament directing as well as previous AD work where he implemented various initiatives to promote sportsmanship and academic excellence among athletes.

As Director of Phoenix Christian Athletics, Stryczek’s primary goal is to build upon the school’s strong foundation of athletic success while also focusing on character development and academic achievement among student- athletes. He is excited to work with the coaches, staff, and student-athletes to enhance the overall athletic experience

“I am passionate about all youth sports and am thrilled to help bring our community together on and off the fields of competition. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4:12, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” shared Coach Stryczek. “Though the process will be ongoing and evolving, it begins with the continued building of “programs,” not “teams.” At Phoenix Christian, we have the potential for sustained success across all our athletic programs for years to come.” Stryczek also says, “Teaching and helping shepherd our student-athletes to a relationship with Jesus Christ is the final and most critical piece of the puzzle that all our sports programs will be rooted in.”

Phoenix Christian Preparatory is an infant through high school private, Christian preparatory school that offers a comprehensive academic program along with a wide range of athletic opportunities. With the addition of Ben Stryczek as its Athletic Director, the school is poised to continue its tradition of athletic excellence and provide students with a holistic education that promotes character, integrity, and leadership.
